BALTIC AIR at Blyth this morning. Apparently an ex Watson Class lifeboat called THE BALTIC EXCHANGE built in 1962 by J Samuel White at Cowes.

Got a gent who was a former owner, asking if we know who owns it now. And is she still at Blyth anyway?

Last time I looked, I'm sure she was still in position. She has been moored there for soooooooo long now she must be in a poor state. Served at Salcombe from 1962 until 1988 and sold out of service in 1989.

Saw her for the first time yesterday and photographed her today. Never noticed her at all from Bates or the North Face and I have never been to Monkey's Island boat club for many years. Need to make friends with the boat owners as thee seems to be nice tat in the yard which Mr Hood would like!!! Regards Graham
