AGUILA and the AGUILA WREN

I'm surprised that the one-time Redcar lifeboat AGUILA WREN has not yet been mentioned.
81 years ago from today, the s.s. AGUILA was sunk en route from Liverpool to Gibraltar.
21 'Wrens' dies in the attack.
Among many references to the event, I just found this one, which also brings in a Scarborough connection

A Wartime Tragedy which as you say George largely forgotten, I would certainly recommend reading about "Y" Stations listening to German radio transmissions including in particular those in this area during 1914/18 along with the Beam Benders at Marske during WW2. Scarborough is the oldest continuously manned Radio Station in the World I believe.
I wonder if her boat is still around.
