I've hi-jacked George's Picture of Berwick Pilot Boat to put it in the Lifeboat Section as well, instead of just adding a Link.

Now named ST BOISIL.

[St Boisil who died in 661 AD was a Monk at Melrose Abbey, which at the time was an offshoot of Lindisfarne. He was Trained by St Aidan.]

LADY OF LANCASHIRE is a 44" Waveney built in 1975 by Groves & Guttridge of Cowes and paid for by an anonymous gift.
She cost £130,000 when new and was fitted with Twin 260 hp General Motors V8 Engines.

She served at Fleetwood from January 1976 to October 1989.
Dun Laoghaire from March 1990 to 1995.
Relief 1995 to May 1996.

She was sold out of service in 1996 and has had the rear of her Wheelhouse enclosed.

EDIT .... thanks Paul, did not think of her as an ex lifeboat as not familiar with this class.
