RAINER CARSTENS

RAINER CARSTENS (5413082), West Germany, 294gt, completed Leer 1963 (launched 4-1963)
(from my personal records) 1965 Volmer - 1974 Danasund - 1977 SUSSE W (under which name I personally sighted this coaster) - 1980 Uno - 1984 Sorel Point (still in service as such according to Equasis).
Clearly a young ship when Albert Weller recorded her at Scarborough. Pity I can't quite make out the name of the coaster ahead of her, and I'm sure George will identify the local pleasure steamer for us?
