PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING!!!! (No. 6!!)
Never dip back into old notebooks - you never know what "can of worms" you may open!!

Well, here's a right to-do! A ship with two names. Which one do I write down?
First attempt - MARIE DE GRACE (after all they were bigger letters). However, subsequently crossed out and replaced with OIL ENDEAVOUR after, I imagine, reference to the Journal of Commerce for the day!
Why stick at it being only one sighting? A few years later I recorded the same vessel twice on the same occasion, the first time for her old name on the bow, the second for her new name on the stern.
I demand a recount .... but to even think of inserting another name and renumbering half the ships in my database .... NO!!

Original Owners were "Societe Havraise de Peche". Le Havre.

The Port Letter's indicate that she is registered in "La Hogue" France but I cannot find such a place!

I can find Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue in Normandy but its not spelt in the same way so perhaps she was even more confused!
