Hi All
Just joined the site and hope to help.
On all my pictures please bare in mind I am sailing my boat with one foot on the tiller, one foot jammed against a bulkhead, one arm grabbing a rail, and with the other arm aim point fire camera :D

Welcome to the site, Mike, stay safe now we don't want any soggy photos (or photographers)! :)

Evening Mike. I have similar fun helming our Broom 44 and taking photos, not easy at 25+ knots  so now I go much slower ;)

We had a trip to Scarborough a few weeks back on our marina neighbours Colvik, much more sedate at roughly 3 knots overall.

Very Nice, Patrick, but so is the Colvik...........

My experience was many years ago, going on Fishing Trips, on one of the old Blyth Pilot Cutters owned by a pal of my Dad's.

4 cy Gardner, but it was a good plodder!

Thanks for the Picture!

Hi Patrick

The broom looks ok but not a patch on the Colvic Watson

Interesting to see Morangie as she looks to be a CW 28'-6", to the best of my knowledge your friend does not appear to be a member of the Colvic Watson Owners Group and please tell him he would be most welcome to join and it's free!.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cwowners/

He may also not know after researching for 7 years I wrote The History of the Colvic Watson Motor sailer for the group which I can send him if he is interested.

Regards

Hi Patrick

Forgot to say before, I am usually up and down the coast sailing all year round so will keep an eye open for you, hope you make good coffee!
Also tell your friend to look out.
This is my wee Colvic Watson Caer Urfa.

Mike, if you blink you'll miss him, he's more like Graham Hill than Patrick Hill.
