Completed in 1927 at Port Glasgow by Lithgows Ltd. as BARON TWEEDMOUTH for the Hogarth Shipping Co.
3,330grt Steam reciprocating machinery
1951 Sold to Italian owners Luigi Monta fu Carlo and renamed MARINERI
1953 Sold to the Liberian Steamship Corp., Liberia, renamed LORNA
1968 Sold to Cia De Nav Pinares SA, Italy, and transferred to Somali registry
Demolished at Split in 1974

Pictured at Dunston staithes on 17/03/63, and inward bound past the Groyne.
Her profile is very similar to ADELFOTIS II which ended up on the Herd Sands in 1963, she was also an ex Baron boat

Beautiful and not a soul on deck other than the guy sitting by the gash can on the stern. Wonder if that is his boat alongside?
