The barges are multiplying and doing a maritime version of the three card trick
On the 06/08/2017 UR 96 was alongside at A&P and ready to go to sea (see later)
UR 98 was alongside Smulders with two more wind farm foundations loaded.
UR 97 had moved up from Howdon and was alongside at Smulders and
UR 902 was waiting down at Howdon.

The first two of the Smulders wind farm foundations sailed from A&P 06/08/2017

Long range photo from the north side showing the barge and assembled tugs ready to go, but then it came on to rain so I left.

Fortunately Kevin Blair stayed on and captured these a couple of hours later from the south bank.

Following on from Richard's post, the four legged structures are for the Beatrice offshore wind farm, which is in the Moray Firth.
Smulders are reported to have 28 of these, so that's 14 barge loads.
They also have a contract for 11 structures for Aberdeen Bay and it seems that these are 3 legged or tripod bases.
The first of these tripods is under construction now and is being anchored into these tubs that have arrived.
Apparently the tubs are "suction bucket foundations" and are a new way of attaching the structures to the sea bed.
