NOTICE TO MARINERS NO 5 OF 2019
River Tyne – Long Reach, Hebburn. Navigation Information Loadout Operations – A&P West Quay, Hebburn

Notice is hereby given that on Friday 3rd May 2019 at 0900hrs (or thereabouts), and for a period of approximately 9 hours, a 93m long vessel “Western Rock” will be located at West Quay, A&P, Hebburn.

The vessel will be maneuvering “end on” to the quay to load out equipment.

During this period the vessel will be extending into the navigation channel leaving a nominal channel of only 50m wide to the north. The Western Rock will have both forward anchors deployed along with a spud leg whilst end onto the quay.

Not the easiest place to get a photo especially if there is something on the quay at Neptune.
However here is WESTERN ROCK stuck out in the river 03/05/2019 and loading . . . . .something

Is this "lump" with FWD written on it the project cargo being loaded?

Is that not a bit specialist for A&P? I must say I thought it was more likely a base for a wind farm or some such.
