Brave Lad. Hope you had your Pacamac. Those of us of a certain age will well remember this rain accessory, usually folded up into as small a bundle as possible and held captive with strong elastic bands.

First time I have heard of an Italian OSV being seen in this area, their Rates must be cheap. The old Pacamac was indeed handy, G.P.O. Elastic Bands were about the best, cheap as well as the Postmen used to throw them away :) In today's world they would have to have a designer label on the Pacamac which would cost more to produce than the Pacamac. You can still get a flimsy Pacamac if you do a boat trip to Niagara Falls.

Prefer Caramac myself.
Still get them but not as much a you used to for your money.
Or am I just getting old like the rest of you?

Possibly yes ;) and still looking for that elusive V.F.M. it seems. Never seen so many people walking around with designer holes in their jeans and they have to pay extra for them too  Barking mad.
