John Brown, Clydebank. 1966.

26,678 Gross. For A/B Svenska Amerika Linien.

1979; Sea Princess.
1995; Victoria.
2002; Mona Lisa.
2007; Oceanic II.
2008; Mona Lisa.

Our first P&O Cruise was on her as Victoria and she still maintained many of her earlier works of Art and round each corner was a nice Oil Painting of a P&O ship. Deep draughted and with a nice flare to the bow she never took on a drop of water.
Nice feature was a row of high chairs bolted to the floor across the front of the Lounge where one could watch the waves!
Paul Hood. + WSS Tyneside Branch Hon Sec.

Fernleys are reporting the sale of VERONICA (ex-Mona Lisa) to unspecified shipbreakers for USD 238/LDT.

Pictured off Cowes 28th August 2009. She had to cancel a planned call there due to strong winds which prevented a tender operation.

Cheers
