Robert Hunter

I have been contacted by Sarah Grounds who is trying to locate the family of a local shipping author. She writes:

"I am doing some family history into Robert Hunter born in 1914 to father Robert Hunter and mother Elizabeth (nee Godfrey). I have Robert Hunter senior's book on A Tug's Rescue Work which is fascinating and wondered if there was anyone still around who remembered the Hunter family who lived in North Shields.

I know Robert (born 1914) went to Canada in 1952, but have not found out anything after that.
His brother Godfrey went to Australia and died there as did his wife and they had no children.

Any information would be really useful. Many thanks in advance"

Can anyone suggest a way forward for Sarah?
