The Clyde Maritime Research Trust is pleased to announce the establishment of its website at

www.clydeships.co.uk/

The Trust has been formed in order to provide a permanent home for the research and recording of all aspects of maritime history in and around the Clyde.
Fuller details can be found on the website.
Our first priority has been to establish a new database of Clyde shipbuilding, all known vessels are entered and the editing and expansion of basic details has now progressed to the point where it can be publicly launched. Our editing team continues its work day by day.
If you can help us in editing, the supply of photographs or have any questions about the project, please contact us via the website.
The website contains a link for enquiries about specific vessels which have not yet been edited.
The database has its own general forum at
http://forums.clydemaritime.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=99 .

Do you only want photos under original names George? Have some photos of Clyde built ships under later names if of any use...

Under any names Patrick, all welcome.
Depending on how many you are thinking of, could easily get you added as an Editor, or could pass them via someone (probably me but busy just now!).
