Dave Waller's ambitious and extensive website is growing day by day!
A very valuable long-term reference archive for all the ships built on this mighty river.

Mr Modesty (not his normal state) omits to mention the huge contribution he has made to the site over the past year. George has provided well over 2500 ship histories and a significant number of photographs as well. Big thank you George.

Many others on NEM have also made significant contributions and I would like to thank them all. Tynebuoy especially has provided many of the fine photographs. So a big thank you to you as well Kevin.

The three of you then deserve great credit for a really excellent, well organised, simple website. and the unmentioned heroine(s), the 'ship widows' who patiently bear private fears about their husbands sanity, because ''normal men' prefer to watch TV or go pubbing. Thank to others who have made contributions as well.
