SHIPS AIS

See: http://www.shipais.com/index.php?map=uk
A useful site for seeing what ships are around your local waters, or elsewhere. Helpful in checking back in their recent time history if you have misidentified, or not been able to identify, a particular vessel in a specific location.

I prefer marinetraffic.com for AIS - usually no delay on this site.

That's at: http://marinetraffic.com/ais/

I've seen this site from various links in the past, but not used it myself. Will give it a try in future, so thanks.
