I think the SARAPETA You are looking for is the one that served in a variety of roles I believe she was a German coaster given the the RN after WW2 I heard somewhere that she had been fitted with 2 torpedo tubes and U boat Periscope to train U Boat Captains she served with the RMAS as TRV on the Loch Long & Arrochar Torpedo firing ranges i think she went for scrap in the early 70s.

That's the one Dave, built at Lubeck in 1920 as a dumb lighter L.M.G. but renamed the next year as FRIEDA PETERS then converted to a motor coaster in 1934. A war prize to Royal Navy in 1949 as SAREPTA, torpedo recovery vessel, and broken up at Cairnryan in April 1972.

I thought Plover must be about the last of the RN Triple Expansions but it looks like Reclaim lasted longer although the Reclaims length of service does not match that of the Plover.

I think that the RN’s final Triple Expansion powered ships would be Laymoor and Layburn, completed in 1959 and 1960 and out of service in the seventies. I think that Laymoor lasted as a target for some time before finally being dispatched in the eighties.

Another ex German prize was the Frieda Peters - taken over in 1946 and renamed Sarepta. She was a torpedo trials vessel and was used as such upto 1972, civilian manned she was not a White Ensign ship.
Apologies I had not red all the posts so this is repetative.
