Kevin has sent me this photo of 3 destroyers fitting out at Hebburn. Date is supposed to be late 1941.
To my untrained eyes, is it BEDALE & BICESTER on the outsides and perhaps a P, PAKENHAM or PATHFINDER, in between.
On the very outside there could be a SGB.

Okay Dave, thank Kevin for this image.

However, you are a little out with these 3 Hunts as we actually have Bicester, Blean and Bedale ( or Slazak ), as seen from inboard here with SGB 5 Grey Owl or SGB 6 Grey Shark outboard of the 3 Hunts.

Hawthorne's never built any P class, but did the 2 O's Onslow and Onslaught and this is neither of them unless their rse ends 'ave been chopped off.

This image dates from early 1942. Full stop. Everyone is patently having a tea break or they are on strike. Again.

Thanks Sean, but ONSLOW was delivered as PAKENHAM and ONSLAUGHT as PATHFINDER.

There's another Hunt (?) or two forward of these 3, and who would be across the river at Swans?

Motor Boat and Davits bottom left, interesting picture, G.B. Shipyards didn't do so bad on output bearing in mind Bombing and Straffing by the Germans which the Americans did not suffer.
