TIDEFORCE

Tideforce, the last of the four RFAs built in Korea, and completed in 2019, has been slowly shuttling up and down off the northeast coast between the Tyne and the Wear for about a week now. Not live on AIS and not shown as expected in any of the local ports – most intriguing. Seen here in this afternoon’s sunshine.

I thought she was tasked for Guard Ship duties and showing the Flag whilst the Tall Ships were here but it appears not. Unless things have changed H.M.G. Vessels do not have to show an A.I.S. Signature as you are most probably aware Dennis especially in these times when RasPutin seems to be very interested in our underwater Communication and Power System whereabouts.
I know things are tough here in the N.E. I don’t think we have resorted to Piracy or it could the S.B.S. are out in their little rubber boat’s practicing finding her in the hours of darkness and testing Boarding procedures.
