Details for the 1924 built Hebburn can be found on Plimsol Ship Data.

However, have a look at: http://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?4815
If they have the right HEBBURN (lost as STANBURN) then she had three masts .... ours only had two!

I think the wrecksite have it wrong, is that not the 1925 Blyth built Hebburn by Allan Green.

The 1925 Blyth built Hebburn had three masts . The wrecksite have a lot of things wrong .
You can also discount the 1915 Blyth built Hebburn as she had four masts.

So, we're pretty sure that 1908 is in fact 1924 but what of 1900 is she 1908?

Ahhhh well there is the Rub!

We don't know which one is which!

They were both Raised Quarterdeck vessels. We know the Bridge Deck was 10ft long and I tried using that as a guide but its not a true broadside picture.
The Signal Letters shown appear to be T. Answering Pendant. M. J. P. W.

This does not match up with either of the two Hebburn's OR any other Seven Lettered ship in the fleet.

Talbot Booth does not have any drawings of the 1900 one under a later name.

I have found a picture of Burnett's WALLSEND of 1893. She is about the same size as the 1900 build, similar design but only has one hatch aft.
So I am leaning towards the other HEBBURN being the 1908 one BUT its only a leaning...........
