Blue Funnel's Ajax, completed by Vickers Armstrong at Walker in 1958, heading up the Clyde on 1 May 1971.

Name of the last ship appears to be Menestheus.

50 YEARS AGO TODAY I was delighted to see the DEUCALION in Hull on 2 October 1972.
As can be seen from the details above she carried that name for only a short while.
I took a photograph but, unfortunately, the negative was so badly fogged that it became one of only a handful of ship negatives I have ever thrown away.
