Happy Trafalgar Day everyone
Battle class destroyer built on the Tyne at Swans and broken up Dalmuir in 1970.
And you will remember that Boris wanted this to be an excuse/reason for a bank holiday to boost the economy after losing the two May bank holidays.
Instead we got the tiers 1-3
Hay hum
Gan canny everyone

Got me thinking about how many other HMS TRAFALGAR's there were:-
1) 1st Rate, Launched at Chatham Dockyard on the 26th July 1820 after 7 years on the Stocks.
2) 1st Rate, Launched at Woolwich Dockyard on the 21st June 1841 after 11.5 years on the Stocks.
3) Battleship of 11,940 Tons, launched at Portsmouth Dockyard on the 20th September 1887.
4) Destroyer of 2,325 Tons, launched by Swan Hunter on the 12th January 1944.
5) Trafalgar Class Nuclear Submarine launched by Vickers, Barrow on the 1st July 1981.

On my wish list, but they go for silly money on a certain action site.

The Frog Undine is even worse price wise, the Torquay kit is normally a more reasonable price. I have a Frog kit of Tiger waiting to be built and would like to others to keep in the smae scale of 1/500

I have been building up a reasonable collection of diecast models over the last few years and have the odd Grey Funnel. Don't think I would have the patience to build a plastic model now. :D :D

Corgi are bringing out a nice diecast of the two QE Carriers and its available to pre-order at £49. BUT when you check it out, its not going to be available until the back end of 2021!!

That's probably when the real deals - Big Lizzie and Big Charlie get their real aircraft!
I think I have an unbuilt plastic model kit of TIGER in mammy's loft
