Penelope on 9 May 1963, of particular note is the original "short" funnel. several of the early Leanders had this but soon sported the raised version.

The 1975 picture shows Penelope fitted as the trials ship for the Seawolf anti aircraft weapons system with the guidance radars covered and the launcher on the flight deck.
