Built in1967 by J Readhead & Sons, South Shields as the DEMETERTON. In 1975 she was renamed ST LAWRENCE and in 1980 became CANADIAN NAVIGATOR. She is 729 feet long and has a GRT of 18788. She is owned by the Upper Lakes Group Inc.

Her looks altered by lengthening in 1968 with a new forepart in 1979.
