Thanks for posting that. Nostalgia aside, When we used the ferry, I was but a bit of a lad stuck in the back seat of dad's Austin, but I had until today been convinced that she was the A.B.Cowan rather than Gowan. You live and learn! There's a high-resolution copy of your same photo here:
