Latest update!
http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teess ... r-11319782

Previous report earlier this week:
http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teess ... a-11305980
This mentions her expected destination (operational or scrap??) and that her name has been shortened to PRODUCER.
This, however, is not yet confirmed on the PD Ports shipping reports, nor by Equasis.
However, I did wonder if such was the case when I photographed her on Friday - have another look yourself!

Oh, dear, what a difference just one year makes!! (see post immediately above)!!!

In the meantime, don't think we've posted the Miramar details of her final disposal:
BU Chittagong 13.8.16, work began 22.8.16 [Janata Steel Industries]

And she is causing a stir from beyond the grave after Maersk have faced critisism after she was sold to Bangladesh breakers when in fact she should have been sold under the rules of the Hong Kong Convention which basically prevents vessels being sold to sub-standard yards. Which to you and me means health and satety policy, workers conditions etc etc
