She and her sister were the last version of the 'Clyde' bulk carrier class associated with Irish Shipping and Readon Smith

They didn't keep them very long though, only a few years. Were there problems with them???

The main problem they had was they were ugly !
I think their original owners went bust or there was some other problem and Jebsens picked them up cheap, Marfine News for the time would probably have the answer
