April 1991, she was also at Smith`s Dock around this time.

She has been part of the US Maritime Administration, MARAD, reserve fleet for some years with the other four D group Capes, Decision, Domingo, Douglas and Ducato.

There are currently 56 vessels in this reserve at the piers in Charleston of which these 5 D Capes are amongst the 27 Ro/Ro's. I have no idea how often the oily moving parts are, well, oiled and moved.

Anyone know if her 1991 docking was planned or unscheduled ?
