Wonder if the background ship is one of the Banks that took 'NEW****' names when sold.

The vessel in drydock is the NEFOS - built as the RODSLEY by Short's in 1956.

Looks like she was resting there for a while during 1969!

In the background is the ferry ST. GEORGE. That I recorded on the negative packet prepared some years later, so must have been noted in original negative file, but strangely does not appear in my notebook (from a time when I did note every ship sighted whether I photographed her or not!) and, even worse, does not figure in my database!! But I'm not going to backtrack 50 years to now include her!!
