The Orkney ferry Hamnavoe leaving the Tyne to return to Stromness this afternoon after a short spell in drydock at A&P Hebburn.

Better than the MOBY ferries in the Med!
Less is better and I AM a fan of Warner Bros cartoons but they are a little OTT

More artwork, but with a more tenuous connection to reality, on board Hamnavoe – I took this picture moments before stepping out onto the “Sun Deck” on 18 July 2009. My aim of seeing The Old Man of Hoy was defeated by squalls, driving rain and mist. He was clearly visible on the return trip, however.

Paint or plastic wrap, what do you think?
I wonder if it is a portrait of the chap who raided the North East and took my Uncle Edmund x ? ( The Soothsayer) as a Slave? and the Shipping Company are having a laugh at us. :D
Need to talk to my MP if I can find him
