The Left hand ship is the ARRAIOLOS.

Good guess on the date Tony. Pins it down to between May and August 1948.

Outside Right has to be a Reardon Smith Ltd/The Leeds Shipping co Ltd vessel BUT is she a newbuild or is she in for repairs?

Its an existing........they had no newbuilds in 1948.

The name looks like NEW WESTMINSTER CITY (ex ANGLO-AFRICAN NEM/Sr.)and ROSEWOOD(NEM-Doxford)

No wonder I didn't pick her up!

She was only New Westminster City from 1948 to 1949.

I have a 1947-48 Register which would have been to early to pick up a 1948 Build and my next one is 1950-51.
By then she was Lord Codrington.

Probably in for a Pre or Post Sale Repair/Survey.

She lasted a long time, Built Short Bros. Ltd Sunderland 1929-12 and scrapped Japan 1965.
