Ah but is it X.II or XII
I can't see a dot in your photo or in these two taken by me
So yours should also be 'sans dot mon ami'?
GEORGIOS XII(B).jpg

GEORGIOS XII.jpg
Goole 28/11/2000

and on our Clyde site we suggested the dot was added after 2003!
The last edit there was done by Bill Harvey so should be definitive.

George,

I can see the point, or not!
My notebook recorded XII at the time.
My database shows X. II .... but as I've mentioned recently this was a time when, for various reasons, I was not keeping up-to-date with my ship records .... and this entry was probably three or four years later .... which would then accord with the variation shown by Bill Harvey.

Looking afresh at my database it does actually include an entry: 90 GEORGIOS X.II (name amended 2002] which I must have got from somewhere around that time!

Do we presume from all this that the owner intended her to have the 'dot' from the start but it was not put on the vessel in the early days?

Having said all that has anyone seen her or found a photo of her with the dot? I haven't!
