Sunderland Shipyards

Postby northeast » Wed Jul 11, 2012 10:56 am

As this is such a big subject and has not been covered locally by specialist sites (although there is the Searle site based in Canada), I thought that we might be better with a separate heading for it, and each of the mainyards as a sub-section.
Of course this gives me a job of transferring all that has been entered up to now :( but better now than later!
I will start the task!

Thankee sir.

Due to changes in yard ownership, suggest we follow the yard location as a priority

eg Doxford-Laing ships built at Deptford will be under Laing.
A&P ships built at South Dock under Bartram
etc etc.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Yes I found the same Ron, an unfortunate side effect but keep taking the pills and it will wear off! Just 4 pages of clicking for me!
