The connection to her is both my own boat Caer Urfa and Sarah were both designed by the same Naval architect with a pedigree second to none G L Watson & Co Ltd when they were in Glasgow (now located in Liverpool).
G L Watson who were the first yacht design architects’ 'in the world' (1873-2013) also designed the Aran,Barnett and MacLachlan class lifeboats and although designed years apart the historic theme of both designs are still clear high bow, low midships, high canoe stern.
