Sealane Inshore Ltd's Sealane Constructor heading down river 11.07.13.
She was built at Swans and this was her first sailing.

Well, that is a bit of a surprise. Didn't realise Swans were building anything. Which Swans? At Wallsend? Would that be the Jaap Kroese (spelling? ) company that built the two Bay Class LSDs?

I spoke to someone at Sealane and they just said Swans and i assumed it was Wallsend.

Just spoke to Sealane again and they built the vessel at Swans.

Thanks Kevin, so built by Sealane but using the old Swans yard as a building location. I guess she must have been lifted into the water from the quayside.

Indeed. I thought the list was complete when the Lyme Bay left, but then we got a concrete pontoon out of Wallsend dry dock and now this one.

I don't think you need to add to your Swan's list Dave - the shipyard no longer exists - pontoons, workboats, etc. are all by new builders.

So it is a clean break, but who is doing what on the site. I thought it was just a cleared site, but obviously not.
