Which Pilot boat ??

Which Pilot boat ??

Postby Tynesider » Sun Sep 06, 2015 7:05 pm

Hi Gents

One for the experts, I was told this is the old Tyne pilot boat The Queen of the May and if it is how did she get that name.

However the name on the bow does not look very long in the first picture and I know it is NOT the pilot boat Protector
However in the second picture which is her but looks like at a later date the name 'looks right'
Maybe the children's clothing will give a clue to the date
