In 1959/1960, Campling at Goole built a small motor barge for Associated Lead of Newcastle
I have just found a reference to their building 3 sisters BYWELL, JAMES LEATHART and WYLAM.
See this page for all I have on them at this time.
Further photos and details, fates etc will be very welcome.

Could I repeat a call to the 'senior' Tyne photographers for any photos of this quartet of barges of Assoc. Lead.
It seems that JAMES LEATHART may have been re-discovered at Lowestoft.

Regarding Paul's additional WYLAM, MNL in 1921 says built in 1895 and keeps this until 1947 when it changes to 1885. The builder at Hebburn Quay could be Hawthorn Leslie, Robert Stephenson or WP Huntley my guess would be WP Huntley on size alone.
