CANADIAN CHALLENGER is one of the SD-14s which could be labelled"existence in doubt". Her last reported movement was sailing from Hamburg 14th June 1999 for Havana. A change of flag to Kitts & Nevis (KNA) was reported in 2006. In the same year at least one broker listed her for a scrap sale "as is Caribbean". It seems likely that she was eventually demolished somewhere in Cuba.
