Some history! 48 years at sea! The days when things could be mended and there was a will to mend them. My children's generation seem to find this practice almost weird. "Just chuck it out dad and get a new one, its five years old now." Nice photo. Had Dickenson's Steam engine 338 NHP. Maybe Dickensons of Palmers Hill, Sunderland.
