Built in 1957 as the DORINGTON COURT by Short Bros

Renamed: 63 EVA

Broekn up at Hamburg 1976 following fire-damage 14.7.76 at Gdansk

Seen by Albert Weller in Middlesbrough Dock, circa June 1973:

She had previously been in Tees Dock on 2 July 1969 when she was among the ships to be seen by members of the Teesside Ship Society during one of their midsummer evening visits to the dock:

Lurking in the shadows are quite a few members of the then Teesside Ship Society (still a couple of years away from becoming the Teesside Branch of the World Ship Society):

Memory fades after 50 years but I think that is Jim Layton extreme right with Paul Ryder next to him. Approaching the group from the left may be Jack Tunnell, a local newsagent who was also our treasurer at that stage and who collected subs only if he felt like it!! Sorry, lads, the rest of you remain anonymous in my recollection!
