ROSLAGEN YARD NUMBER 841, 1967

Roslagen, yard number 841 in 1967. For Nordstrom and Thuliu. 47,000 dwt bulk carrier one of a series of three (Mylla and Orotava) for different owners. Gotaverken engine in which one of the engine builders men was killed when the timing chain fell on him during the building of the engine at Gotaverken.

All of these were Doxford 760J6, 13,300 BHP engines with the exception of Roslagen and it had a Gotaverken engine

Austin and Pickersgills built two similar ships about the same time, Happy Dragon and Sygna.
