Following a recent meeting I had with a fellow railway modelling enthusiast the subject of ships was mentioned. After checking his late fathers slide collection he sent me half a dozen scans of shipping subjects. This view taken at Blyth is the only one of local interest, a nice photo I think
Keith's father was the well known railway photographer WJ Verden-Anderson

And a very fine photo it is.
I wonder why BEARWOOD had her name over a red panel.
