The BHC bucket dredger COWPEN built by Ferguson in 1913. She went to Sicily in the early 60s, becoming the S.RITA at Palermo. Her engines were removed in 1981 and . . . . .

We did enquire some time ago about her eventual demise via Lloyd's but received no answer from her Owners. Logic says she is now been razor blades.

According to a posting on Shipsnostalgia

"She left Blyth on the 19th May 1964,towed by the Poolzee bound for Palermo"
