1936 TILDA, Kristian Hansen, Helsingfors
While in the Far East sold 12/1942 as ANNETTE FRITZEN, Johs. Fritzen, Stettin
5/1945 seized by Japan
Mined and sunk on 26/7/1945 in the Korea Strait 35.00N 128.00E

Is this the most photographed location in old ship photos? The shot of the Clifton Gorge, which is the other common one, could be from the same spot but facing the other way?

Wonder who took these photos. Was it George?

Before even my time, 'elderly of Whickham', but I wish I could have seen ships and sights (and sites) like this. I think they do all originate from one photoghrapher's collection but the name escapes me ..... what day is it please? :(
