Thanks to John D.Stevenson of Edinburgh for offering the following details:-

SURREY. Off No. 98886.
Steel screw 3masted steamer.
Launched January 1891 by J. Blumer & Son, Sunderland, as yard No.109.
798 grt. 190ft length, 30ft beam, 13ft depth.
Triple expansion steam engine and one Scotch boiler operating at 160lbs/sqin pressure supplied and fitted by J. Dickinson, Sunderland.
Machinery aft, well deck . part of the shell plating of iron (fitted at build), one deck of iron.
Port of Reg'y : London
Owners : M.A. Ray & Sons, London.
1900. Robin S.S. Co., (A.F.Blackater, London, Managers.) No name change.
1911. 31st March, struck a sunken wreck near Blaye(25 miles N of Bordeaux) and sank. On passage Blaye to Trompeloup in ballast.
