TEESBUILT has these two as built at West Hartlepool ..... and George will be right!!!! (Having said that, equally rare for Bert to be wrong!)

LR 1932 shows both as Hartlepool built, also on the WSS Gray yard list, those from Sunderland have an 'S' suffix on the yard number.
However, can anyone be sure that as Tony points out, that hulls built on the Wear and completed at H'pool might have been listed to the latter?
Would be interesting to see Bert's source of info.

Hmmmm so If a Hull is built and launched at Blyth, then taken round to the Tyne for her Engines and Fitting out to be completed.........where was she Built??

If we follow the above it would be the Tyne.

I know Lloyds does say Hull Built in such and such place and completion by shipyard X

Interesting.......

We'd need 7 different plaques on about 40 bits!
