What you have there is a photo of the tug ROUGHSIDER being launched at the Hessle-on-Humber shipyard of Richard Dunston in 1958. The launch was not of the convential type, in that she was launched sideways, which throws up a lot of water. This type of launch is quite common for small ships. As to the value of the photo, I wouldn't know. I see photos for sale on eBay at £1 but it would depend whether someone had a particular desire for this photo I suppose.
