Great site but !

The site and format is very good and active, but considering the quality of some of the excellant pictures of some of our photographers is that the best picture above for our home page :D

Mike, I think there's a bit of a problem in creating this banner as its a set format, we will have another look at it!

How about a competition :D Members submit photos we do a poll and best pic or photo collage wins the banner position .

Well if you can stitch 2 or 3 together, I will offer one of the popular old CEMENTINA as she may not be with us for much longer (though still stuck at Howdendyke)
Perhaps we can have a rotation of pairs of photos every few months?

The biggest problem for the banner is the size needed - the above file is around 980x199. The image needs to be long and thin to work ok - so over to you guys. :mrgreen:

Here are a couple reduced to 200 pixels high, not much quality left though.
Is it possible to have a deeper banner setting?
We should have 2 matched together from different rivers/ports
