Launched 7th July 1944 in Portland as the B. CHARNEY VLADECK. Design EC2-S-C1.
Engine Builder, Vulcan Iron Works, Pennsylvania.

1947: SARAYA.
1949: RIO GRANDE.
1956: ARCHON RAPHAEL.

23rd May 1967, Aground. Musha Island, near Djibouti. Voyage Sunderland to Shanghai with Scrap Iron.
17th June 1967: Refloated and towed to Djibouti.
27th February 1968: Broke adrift from Moorings 3 Miles from Musha Island Lighthouse and sank.
January 1969: Reported to have broken in two.
