SILVER WAVE - 1974

Silver Wave and Shaulora are sisters of St Amant, but their conversion to twin rig prawn trawlers with full shelterdecks make them look very different. Both now work from Fraserburgh and are two of the oldest in the fleet working in North East Scotland. All three are now over 38 years old and still active. Harkers must have built ships to last.
BF 372 SILVER WAVE was built in 1974 as Yard No.355 as H256 Radiant Trust for Hull owners. She moved North and was renamed FR 233 Primrose in 1992. In 1997 she moved to Northern Ireland as N 393 Vellee II and back to Scotland as BF11 Boy Ian in 2008. She took her present name in 2011 and is shown berthed outside her sister SHAULORA at Fraserburgh on 14/04/2013

Thanks for all these trawler updates, Richard .... I had nothing for them except original names.
