Spotted this building going up at South Shieldls slipway on my way out the weekend.

I bet the locals are really impressed and had long forgot as it looks like that the original planning application goes back to 1996.

This is the new Tyne Engineering slipway as they have to move out of Tyne dock for the new riverside /McNulty quay re development, that's some building and looking at the crane and roof heights they must be planning on new work coming in.

I wasn't aware that they were still in business. They obviously are or they sold the site for a bundle of cash and are getting back into business. Always good to see a new business setting up or an old one expanding.
